If it’s in your budget, we recommend hiring a band, as live music really makes the magic happen at Mouzon! HOW MUCH FOR KIDS & VENDORS?

Children 5 and under are free, vendors and children 6 to 12 are 50% off.

ARE WE ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES AT THE MOUZON HOUSE BEFORE OUR EVENT?

Sure! Just let us know what time you’ll be arriving, and keep in mind that our staff will be finishing set up!

DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE DECOR?

One of the benefits of booking with us is you really don’t need to go crazy with decor. The house is already beautifully appointed. We do have a list of florists that we work with, and we’re happy to advise on quantity and size of arrangements to make the most of your floral budget!

WHAT ABOUT BALLOONS?

We can help you find biodegradable balloons but we feel that latex balloons do not align with our mission to be an environmentally sustainable venue.

HOW EARLY CAN WE ARRIVE TO SET UP?

We prefer you drop off anything you’d like set up the day prior with instructions, and we’ll take care of it. If you feel better doing your own finishing touches, we ask that you arrive with a maximum of 2 other people no earlier than 1 hour prior to your start time.

WHAT’S THE RENTAL FEE FOR?

The rental fee covers the cost of having the house professionally cleaned before and after your event, paying for the dishwashers + the kitchen staff, printing your menus, laundering the linens, and making the house look beautiful for your special day.

DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF VENDORS?

We sure do! We’re happy to put you in touch with talented photographers, designers, florists & MC’s to help make your day truly amazing!

WHY DID YOU SWITCH FROM A RESTAURANT TO DOING EVENTS & SUPPER CLUBS ONLY?

So glad you asked! Not only do we delight in helping to create magical moments, hosting events and prix fixe dinners aligns better with our commitment to environmental sustainability and quality of life.

The traditional restaurant model is, by design, wasteful. We do our part by composting and supporting organic local growers and producers, but without a crystal ball, we never know what will be ordered and what will be wasted. Knowing in advance how many guests will be coming and what they will be eating makes so much more sense and so much less waste.

We absolutely love cooking for you, but we have young families, and the demanding hours that the restaurant required took us away from spending time with our little ones (and our grandkids). Hosting special dinners where we can be intentional and really put our time, energy, and focus into creating dishes that highlight our local ingredients is more meaningful to us and feels like a better use of our time and energy.

Right now, we are stepping back and slowing down. We’re focusing on quality (of life, of food, of community) and sustainability (of our lifestyles, our environment & our relationships), and we’re so grateful to have you along for this journey. We hope you’ll join us in cherishing the moments that matter most and taking care of yourselves along the way.
